From the legendary chief Dianikula, who led his people across the Pacific to Lesiaceva Point, their yavutu (place of origin) was etched into Nasavusavu, marking the birth of a lineage that shapes the region’s destiny.

A chief from Batiki, seeking land and kinship, was welcomed, leading to his son, Ratu Sigaruarua, becoming the first Tui Nasavusavu. This union expanded their influence and solidified their position as the leading Yavusa of Savusavu.

Today, Nukubalavu and Nacekoro villages serve as their home, with the ancestral yavutu of Nasavusavu reminding them of their roots.
